Setting Up New Laptops

I bought some second hand laptops. Now I have to set them up.

Well, first I want to save copies of the hard drive. They are so pretty before screwed up.
For that I will... need a screwdriver and then plug them into my desktop.
Boot Linux
Use the dd command to copy the hard drives.
That should keep me going a few hours.
I want a copy of the HDD before I do anything and after I do everything.
